Well look at that, I took one weekend off and it turned into a full month of no weekend updates!  Damn holidays always getting in the way of being productive.  Then add in the fact that I'm doing a god awful Dry January and the last thing I've wanted to think about is what all is going on around town when I'm not partaking!

But in the spirit of making sure we are all collectively doing our part to support our local watering holes the round up is back and better than every! (well maybe not better than ever, its pretty much the same, that just sounded good) 

This past week has brought new increased restrictions on bars and breweries due to the Covid case spike.  Make sure to double check social pages prior to heading out in case there are any last min changes.

Weekend Update 1/15-1/17.

🍺Acopon open 2-8pm Friday, Saturday 1-8pm, and Sunday 1-6pm for onsite consumption and cans to go Patio is open and food available.  Thursday nights trivia starts at 7pm. 

🍺 One Shot Distillery  Friday 5p-10p, Saturday 5p-10p, and Sunday 12p- 10p. Onsite food truck, drink service and growler fills.  Thursday nights they have weekly trivia at 7pm. 

🍺 Last Stand Brewing Company open 2-6 Friday; 11-6 Saturday/Sunday.  Patio is open for enjoying your beer and food while you watch weekend football.  If you find yourself downtown this weekend check out their new location on S. Congress. 

🍺 Beerburg  Open 3-7 Friday, 12-7 Sat/Sun for onsite and to go orders.  Restaurant onsite with outdoor seating.  Dog park onsite!  

🍸 Treaty Oak Distilling open 12-9 Fri-Sun. Full restaurant and plenty of outdoor space to socially distance.  

🍺12 Fox Beer Co Open 12-9 Friday/Saturday; Sunday12-7.  Beer garden is open, lots of spread out tables to enjoy food and music.  Food truck this weekend is Whoa BBQ. No music acts listed for this weekend, but double check their FB page for updated info 

🍸 Deep Eddy Vodka  Friday/Saturday 11-5pm; Sunday 12-5pm. The tasting room is open back up along with their weekend food truck offerings.  They have limited capacity and are not allowing the typical party buses so the crowd will be a bit less than normal.  

🍸 Frog Pond Distillery Open 1-5 Saturday for bottle sales only.  Due to the recent increased restrictions they will no longer have sit down drink service at the distillery. 

🍸 Remington Vodka New distillery in Dripping.  Open Friday by reservation only; Saturday 12-6; Sunday 12-5 open to general public.  They are located on Frog Pond Rd off of 290.  

🍺 Twisted X Brewing Open Friday/Saturday 11-9 and Sunday 12-8. tasting room is open, Daniele's Pies making pizza and lots of open space to enjoy your drinks/pizza.  Saturday night they are hosting a Drive in Movie- Incredibles 2 at 6:10pm and Indiana Jones at 8:40pm. This is a colaboration with Dripping Springs Drive in and tickets can be purchased at www.drippingspringsdrivein.com.  Live music Sunday at 1pm from Cliff Crawford.  Also don't forget they are hosting Bar Bingo on Thursday nights at 6:30. 

🍺 Jester King Brewery Friday 4p- 10p; Saturday 11-10pm, Sunday 11-7pm.  Reservations only for one of the best spots in Hill Country.  They have done a great job opening the property up and allowing for some great socially distant social gatherings.  

🍺 Bell Springs Brewing Company open Fri-Sun 11-6.  Onsite food and they have a winery right next door. They are starting a beer club with monthly discounts and other perks. Sign up this weekend.  

🍺 Suds Monkey Brewing open 3-9 Fri, 2-9 Saturday, 2-7 Sunday. Pizza available onsite, tap room is open for dine in eating and the outdoor beer garden is open to the public.  Pizza specials all weekend long.  Friday, wear a hat and get a $1 off your first pint.  Wear a funny hat and your pint might be just a buck.  New beer this week: Mystic R&D- DDH Pale Ale with citrus notes and a slight hop start.   Trivia every Wednesday at 6:30..

🍸 Desert Door   Friday/Saturday 11:30-8pm; Sunday 12-6pm. Eden West food truck onsite all weekend serving local farm to table fare. 

🍺 Family Business Beer Company open 3-10p Friday, 11-10p Saturday, and 11-9p Sunday. It's by reservation only so head to their the FB and click the link to secure your spot.  They are serving up all the FBBC beers you love and artisan pizza.  

🍸Revolution Spirits open for dine in and take out Fri/Sat/Sun 1-7pm.  They are right next to Last Stand and you can easily support two local spots with one stop of the car.  They are hosting a special event this weekend with chef Damien Brockway and Graham Penninger offering a set menu BBQ and cocktails.  Tickets are available on their FB page, $40 in advance.  

 🍺Vista Brewing open for reservations and pick up orders Friday 4-9, Sat 12-9; Sun 1-9. Please follow the reservation system on their website to secure your space. If you are heading to Bee Cave they have a pop up beer garden at the Hill Country Galleria all weekend, along with music in the main lawn of the Galleria on Saturday at 4pm.   Live music this weekend in Driftwood-  Sunday 4pm it's Adam Johnson. 

 🍺 Roadrunners Bar and Grill open 11:30-9pm Friday, 11a-9p Saturday; 11-8p Sunday. Full Service bar and grill next to Drip YMCA, Daily happy hours specials 3-6pm.  Lots of family friendly activities and a nice drink and tap list.

🍺 Hill Country Tasting Room Open Friday-Sunday 3-7 for to go orders only; They have a great selection of local wine, beers, ciders and meed. Great prices and just a really cool vibe.  $18 growler fills all week long. 

🍺 Hitmaker Brewing Open for beer to go Wednesday/Thursday/Friday 4-7pm and recently added Saturday 2-6pm.

🍺 Savage's Hill Country Bar open 11a-12a Fri/Sat, 11a-11p Sun.  Make the trip down to Wimberly for a great hang, food and music.  This weekend's line up is- Friday 8pm Graybone; Saturday Lance Lipinsky at 8pm.

🍺 Driftwood Dugout  Open Friday 3-11p; Saturday 11a-11p; Sunday 12p-8p.  Brand new sports bar opened in Driftwood behind the Hill Country Tasting Room.  Live music: Saturday 7pm John Prather.
